Maybe, but if he drops that far then there is probably a good reason for it that we as fans might not know about.

Bad health history plus worrisome character - maybe its not even worth it at #10?

I really hope he doesn't fall to Portland. That will be a high risk decision.

I really hope that Noel pushes another players down to the Blazers. If he does fall to 10, would a later team offer decent value to trade up to get him?

I never paid any attention before today but this Carmichael guy looks interesting. With Hickson likely to be moving on Portland could always use a physical, bruiser type rebounder. For a second round pick I might take a flyer on him for some depth.

I will be watching to see if there's anything on how his workout went.

Drummond fell to 9 last year for different reasons.detroit looked like geniuses and Toronto idiots for passing. if Noel slides that far the reasons will be out there and not something hidden away. NO will have all the information needed to make the call. weighing risk/reward and talent evaluation is what he is being paid for. the glory or the goat(not to be confused with greatest of all time)

Would love to get Carmichael in the 2nd round. Hard worker, toughness, scores inside, blocks shots....and even patterns his turn around jumper after LaMarcus Aldridge.

At ten in a draft lacking star player potential? Yes, yes it is.

+1.

Muscala is my #1 second round target, but Carmichael is #2.

He sets some nice screens too, something the 2nd unit could really use.

There's absolutely NO chance Noel is still there at #10.
I would be VERY surprised if he isn't a top 5 pick.

I think, if one of the top 6 prospects (Noel, Porter, Oladipo, McLemore, Len, Bennett) is available at #10, you take him and run.

Latest I read on hoopshype this morning is that McLemore is sliding hard on peoples draft boards. He apparently had some horrendous workout for the Suns recently, so a lot of teams are really souring on him.

I still doubt he makes it to #10, too many teams ahead of Portland with SG needs and he'd be too good of a value to not take at 7, 8, or 9. But yeah, I agree with you bob2, if any of those guys slide to 10, you take him no matter who he is.

Apparently he has some sketchy people surrounding him as well, I think it's a real possibility Ben slips to 10.

so...if Olshey's list of BPA's doesn't match yours he's dishonest?

I'm wondering if Bennett is this year's Thomas Robinson, but being a couple inches shorter and injured

with all the teams ahead of us potentially interested in a SG, I don't see how he'd get past Detroit at 8, or Minnesota at 9.

If McLemore falls to 7 or 8 I'd hope we would try and trade up to snag him. He may have some questions about him but if he turns out we might be getting a superstar SG.

I wouldn't touch Bennett at 10 even if he is BPA. I hate tweener PF's tell me the last time a tweener power-forward panned out? Faried, Millsap, Lebron? That's about it out of the dozens of others. Also all he really does is give us big man offense with very suspect defense not our number 1 priority. Without even being able to start for us unless we trade LMA.

Looking at their stats in their freshman year Derrick Williams and Bennett look similar, Williams even had a better year.

Nope it would cost too much and I honestly don't see him being that much better than KC-P.

I still doubt he falls Suns could be throwing smokescreens.

What possible reason could the Suns have for throwing that smokescreen out there? Teams only use smokescreens when they have something to gain by doing so. I'm failing to see what they have to gain by saying McLemore bombed in his workouts.
