My read on this tabking debate is that a championship is terribly unlikely no matter which way Portland goes, so I'd prefer them to field a watchable basketball team while we wait patiently for the stars to align.

By the by, the new CBA is even worse for competitive balance than the old one, despite the hilarious statements made by the league during the process.

The X Man specific part starts at about 5:17, but the whole thing is worth watching because Bird was just that awesome. Anyone who says he wouldn't be that effective in today's NBA flat out doesn't know what they're talking about. Anyone who can shoot like that and has that kind of footwork to create separation and that kind of creativity could play in any era.

Bird was simply amazing. No one n the NBA today has what Bird had. He did not want to team up with Magic, Thomas, or Jordan. He wanted to beat them! He hit a big shot against Portland when I was a kid and I ws so pissd because I was sure he traveled. So long ago I don't know if he really did now. Either way he is a true legend.

relax. this is all part of the blazers' plan to snag paul george away from indiana when he becomes restricted, similar to how the blazers snagged matthews from utah.
