tacosman and less than optimistic Blazers fans:

If Lillard goes to Miami for the best deal to a team that "has a shot," okay. Jovic, Jaquez, Martin, picks, and what the Blazers want/need from the return for Herro ..

However, the idea that Lillard will not be going to any other team is just flawed thinking. If Miami doesn't do what is necessary to get a player they value that highly -- and Lillard certainly deserves that evaluation -- then they show disrespect to what Lillard is. And they deserve all criticism for the opportunity to get Lillard but failing to do so as well as Lillard seeing what they think of him.

Boston making noises about Lillard-interest but not including Brown? Then they aren't serious. Williams is the kind of center that would be great to have, but he's missed so many games ... like Nurkic. Not a selling point even being a stud.

Brooklyn has FAR better picks than Miami and would need to add in Claxton.
San Antonio has better picks, too.

Thinking that it's Miami or nothing because Lillard wants it so ... would DEMAND it ... would ... REALLY? Is that the Lillard that fans know? That he projects to the world? That is who he is? Die on that hill if you must, but Miami gets him for an actual package worthy of consideration OR Cronin deserves to be fired for accepting what Miami fans and media types want but is insane OR he stands fast to doing his frickin' job.

Fans of other teams should show a helluva lot more courtesy than craptastic trade proposals and either/or scenarios. It's the least they can do in their hopes of getting Lillard.
