You're missing Dieng, though so far it doesn't look like he's on Portland's radar.

yeah. probably Dieng and Muscala should be about the same level, which is to say a reach at #10

The Blazers interviewed Zeller, so he is clearly on their potential list at #10.

the issue there is that Zeller is considered pretty weak defensively. On the other hand, if he's "blowing other C's away" in the verticals and agility drills, maybe he can improve a lot defensively

sounds like Adams has a lot of wjat the Blazers are looking for but it also sounds like he may be moving up in the lottery and be out of reach at #10

or they could invest heavily in a proper development staff. why paul allen spent so much on draft picks during the last rebuild, only to chase off assistant coaches like tim grgurich is mind boggling.

The Blazers could have the greatest development staff in the history of the NBA, but it won't change the one factor in player development that can't be changed.... time. If there's a player who's a major project (as a lot of these C's seem to be, there's simply no way to speed up a players development fast enough to make use of LMA and Wes' prime years. That's just a simple fact. Maybe the player is more NBA ready than believed and can contribute sooner, but beyond that, even the greatest player developers can't make a player progress faster. That's just not how it works.

If Zeller is pretty elite offensively and athletically, he might be the best talent we can get and not worth passing on. Especially if we think we might deal Aldridge at some point this next year.

I don't see Gobert going as high as some people have suggested in this thread. I still think he could be an option around 10.

Adams does seem to fit a lot of what we are looking for, if he has more talent than I have previously thought, then he might not be such a reach at 10.

I agree, Dieng and Muscala are both reaches at 10. Neither have the potential to be an outstanding center. Could be solid back ups though.

Porter looks like he is going top 3. I might take him over both McLemore and Oladipo. Also, Noels weight will be very concerning. I doubt he falls out of the top 5, but he very well might lose out on being the #1 pick depending on who wins the lottery.

If we get either Gobert or Adams (at this point-there could always be new juicy developments before draft night) I'd be happy.

Called it at the beginning of May. Adams rising is not a surprise at all. Seems to be a lot of things we wanted Meyers to be defensively, actually using his strength/shot blocking etc. Can't wait till we work him out. I'd take hm and have him and Meyers battle for time.

I think KCP is going to be the pick if the Blazers keep it. I would like Gobert, but KCP seems like a solid value and fits an expressed need.

The Blazers should be able to pick at least one of KCP, Gobert and Zeller, which is a pretty good for #10.

Oladipo makes up for shorter than expected height of 6' 4 1/4" in shoes with a 42" vertical jump and a 6' 9 1/4" wingspan.

I'm pretty sure if I was picking #1 Olapido would be who I take. Noel scares the hell out of me and I don't think there is more of a sure fire prospect in this draft.

I love Oladipo's game.

I heard Gobert has really been helping his stock so far. Freakish wingspan and standing reach.

I feel like this year may be a good year to buy a first rounder if possible from a team that doesn't want there's and try and land a couple of guys that could potentially contribute next year. Would love to get a combo like Gobert and Franklin or Pope.. Or Bazz and Dieng / Withy.

Love Franklin's attitude. He says his is a Tony Allen type of defender and can score on anybody. 6' 11 1/4" wingspan which is tremendous. Doesn't shoot it well yet.

Yeah, gotta love the mentality. It sounds like Pope really prides himself on his defensive performance as well.

I am not a big Carter-Williams fan.. Seems like much more of a project than some of the other prospects.

Me neither. I don't like guards who can't shoot anymore.
