I don't doubt that there is some misdirection going on...however, I also believe that both Charlotte and Blazers DON'T view either Miller or Scoot as can't-miss prospects (Ps. they're not), so there is going to be a ton of hand-wringing.

All the Blazers have to do is pick whomever Charlotte doesn't pick.

I wonder how many rumors get started by Las Vegas to get people to place losing bets.

Seems reasonable. I'd rather have a rookie with Paul's potential than a 33yo expensive PG who can't stay healthy anymore.

I'd really love to bring PG here but only for the package similar to what Phoenix shipped to Washington for Beal

Blazers probably had interest but the Clippers asking price was way too high.

I think we’ll try with Simons and the 23rd but we won’t find much and it’ll force dames hands at that point to ask for a trade cause we won’t without him asking.

I am fully on going to a rebuild with Sharpe Simons Amen 2/3 are almost locks to turn out like how we want and if Amen does in a year we will be set for a decade with Celtics like core

I have to give it to the Wizards for recovering from the bad hand Beal forced them into with the deal. Future assets are obviously not set in stone to be great, but it's a little something, and they can improve Poole's standing over the season if not flip him right away for more assets.

I love it for the Wizards.

I think he has to ask for one if they take Amen over Miller. And I would understand why he did.

I really think that's the Warriors dealing with the harsh reality of the 2nd apron. They can't afford to be paying Poole 32m/Year for the next 4 years, AND re-sign Draymond

Some rumors heard the radio that there is some friction between AD and LeBron…. If true and they want a high pick, could 3, Simons and Nurk for AD?

I'll assume it's in reference to trying to get Myles Turner and Buddy Hield. But if we could get AD, especially if Scoot is off the board, I would rejoice.

I love AD. I know people think he didn't dominate in the playoffs because he didn't put up consistent offense, but that man got them to the western conference finals on the strength of his defense. Because LeBron was not right at all with that injury.

If they trade AD it will be for needle moving win-now pieces IMO. LBJ wont have any interest in playing with a rookie.

AD is essentially an expiring contract for like OG, he has a player option next summer. Portland has no reason to send out major assets for an expiring contract

There’s a real chance LeBron may retire for a year and then come back for one season with his son. The Lakers time with LeBron is limited and may already be over. If they know that’s his plans and they’re real, they would be wise to reboot sooner than waiting for the inevitable.

Maybe it could be a trade and extend?
