The chatter about Augustine somewhat fits what they are trying to do. 1 year left on his deal but it looks like a possible Qualifying Offer. That said, if Charlotte (Cho) is trying to send back out a bad contract with it, likely Portland balks. Portland may be trying to get back a pick or their own pick next year out of the deal as well.

Latest Blazersedge update per Chris Haynes has Minny redoubling efforets for Crawford with Rubio injury, problem is what POR wants from Minny, maybe a 3-way?

A 3-way would make sense as Minnesota doesn't really have anything Portland would want. Can someone clarify the contract status of DJs qualifying offer for next year?

Nope. With the new CBA being as it is, teams don't have to match salaries as closely to get deals done.

Well i think it's a good trade plus true Gomes is owed 4m but IF the Blazers believe Bledsoe is a future Starter then it's a small price. It's not like the Clipps are asking the Blazers to take on a Hedo type contract. I am not totally sold on Bledsoe but i will say this .... If the Blazers go for a young point guard then Nate either needs a Lobotomy or the writing in on the wall and This will be Nate's last season. History has shown us that Nate cannot groom a PG because his standards are too high or something who knows only Nate does but the bottomline is Nate cannot groom a PG so time to move on.

I do think the Blazers would prefer to get a proven PG Rondo but that would require Batum to be included and they seem VERY against this idea. I know alot could change between now and the deadline so who knows. All the info that comes out is suspect at best time to HOLD unto OUR shorts and be prepared for anything or nothing.

I believe the Clips still have their own 1st round pick. From what I can find, it looks like they traded the unprotected Minny pick they owned. But there was a little bit of confusion with that as I found some conflicting reports from when the trade was made, so I don't know for sure.

Oh yeah, Gomes is a perfect fit as he's shooting 33% this year and 14% from 3, fits in just fine! and we get him next yr too? LOL

The Clippers have been seriously interested in Crawford according to a friend of mine. They are looking for a 'big shot' replacement for Billups and have reached out to the Blazers a couple of times. Bledsoe is exactly the type of player that fits the scenario my source was telling me yesterday but Gomes doesn't fit that nearly as well. Trying to see what other player might fit in there.

Not a huge fan of Bledsoe. He's ok and I'd take a chance on him in a Crawford deal, but yeah, no thanks to having to take on Gomes crappy contract. Bledsoe is like an Eric Maynor, a low minute backup player that people go crazy over for no good reason.

Foye & Blesoe work. Not a big fan of either of them though. I have to think a Minny trade would be more appealing.

I'd do that if the Clips are down for it. Nothing that's a world changer, but the Blazers could do worse.
