The Rockets roll players stepped up
and the Blazers roll players didnt.. .
Thats the biggest reason for the loss.
Like I said before, the first game back
from a long road trip is extremely hard
to win.. .I think most of us figured the
Blazers would lose this game, no suprise.
Lets just hope the Blazers will win the
rest of the games on this home stand.
The Blazers are in the 8th spot in the West now.

The Rockets played better basketball tonight and as I was afraid of, the Blazers couldn't hit a shot against Houston later in the game (as they've had similar stretches against the Rockets in the past). I tip my hat to the Rockets but believe that if the Blazers would have hit their shots, we may be looking at a different outcome right now. There's always time to win some more games but as for right now, losing is definitely not the ideal situation.

I really quetion James Jone's professionalism of the game.
14 ticks left in the game, Rockets' ball. Tmac basically wanted
to stop taking on the Blazers. That's good basketball courtesy
as well as the respect for Portland team. He rest the ball on the
floor with 5 ticks left.
Guess what, James Jone went up, picked up the ball, and took it
to the other end of the court to score at the final buzzer. That's was
just garbage manner.
Was it necessary?

Houston played great team D.
This loss reminds me a bit of losses early in the season where the Blazers weren't able to put good quarters together. The Blazers have no inside scoring so they will lose games in which they don't shoot well. Again, a lack of penetration from the Blazers means less open shots and a lower percentage, as well as less foul shots and less foul trouble for opposing teams.
Also, as in the NO game the Blazers need to figure out a way to respond to the quick double on Roy. Relying on passing the ball around the perimeter is a death wish.
