Nate's decision to randomly remove Joel from the game at that point was hilarious and bit us in the ass. I laughed, and laughed.

Hey, why the hell was that a jump ball? There was a loose ball foul on Charlotte, and Portland got the rebound anyway, they get into a scuffle and that cancels out the play? Are these **** making up new rules as they go?

Exactly. Based on that garbage combined with Sean Corbin's ridiculous Oden foul calls, I'm convinced the refs are trying to help Charlotte win. If we can pull this out, it'll make it all so much better.

But the Mikes didn't say anything about it, and the Blazers didn't complain. I wish they could explain what the hell that was all about. If a team gets a rebound, and you don't like it, start a fight and it's a jump ball?? I've never ever seen that before in my life.

Oh I could hear the Mikes complaining about it. I could hear Rice trying to tell somebody "we've got a different angle on it!"

It's almost like the officials saw the replay and decided they didn't see a foul, so they changed the call because of the replay, and apparently the refs didn't look at the Portland crew's angle or something.

Harlow was so taken by Aldridge defending her honor against Raja that they retreated to her dressing room for some PG rated sexual encounter.

Phew.

Oden needs to stay out of foul trouble. That's all I have to say. 8 pts/4 rbds/4 BLOCKS and some ridiculous offensive moves in 17 minutes.

Rebecca is also working for FSN/Versus and CBS sports as a sideline reporter this fall I believe, so during the weekend games she is not available.

Nice.. tied for most wins in the entire league!

Also wow jeez, Atlanta is tied for the best record in the league.. It's gonna be a helluva hard game there, I hope everyone doesn't go on suicide watch if we lose that?

Oden had such an impressive offensive game tonight. I know it was only 8 points, but jesus he was dominant. Its indescribable how much better his post moves have been the past 2 weeks. Once he gets his fouls under control, and he will, he is going to beast.

I am just so sick of Steve Blake. He is paid to do 3 things. 1. Bring the ball up the court 2. Immediatley pass it to Roy 3. Sit on the peremiter and hit 3's. He cant play D, and he isnt hitting his shots. I think he is a great guy, and I would love him as a 10-15mpg 4th guard. But the way we are using him is just infuriating. Rudy needs to start NOW. His D in the 2nd half was awesome.

A win is a win, but I hate the fact that we need to put 40 or so minutes on our starters in a game like this. Thats a bad sign. Still, good teams find ways to win when they are playing bad, and this just shows we have that swag.

Also, what is up with Webster? I just cant put my finger on it. He is so streaky. Tonight he played like he was a rookie. I still believe in the kid, and he has had some good games this season. I just wonder what kind of role he is going to eventually play on this team. He isnt a defensive stopper or a guy who you can take off the bench and get some quick offense from. I am torn on whether we should try and deal him and Outlaw/Blake/??? for a veteran SF or realize that he is only like a year older than Oden and keep waiting.

I'm just relieved we won in Charlotte in 4th in 5 nights. Especially in that arena, us and even the Lakers have had hell in the past there.. Great win, wasn't pretty but they deserve some slack..
