Yeah, that Hayward injury was gruesome. I hope he can recover: he's a good dude and the East needs what talent it has to be healthy.

Drummond played so ass on defense vs Embiid. When did he become Meyers/Harden on defense.

I remember when Van Gundy asked us for McCollum when we inquired about Drummond last February. Quickest dialtone I can think of. Lol. Shame on me for wanting him over Lillard 2012.

I've been watching the Lakers/Wizards game tonight. What's with the Lakers in blue home jerseys over
their traditional Laker gold uniforms?

Eight teams get a classic throwback jersey this year. That is the Lakers'. They've used it before. It's from their days in Minnesota.

Speaking of Minnesota.

Yikes.

Melo should've chose us tbh, we are better than Westbrook and PG + a bunch of nobodies.

Man Otto Porter turned into such a good SF. Exactly the kinda player we need at sf. Not an allstar, just a really good player and defender. We can make due with Harkless and Turner though.

I think with Dame/CJ and Nurkic we likely don't need a big scorer at SF. Likely we'll have to make do
with Turner given his contract but Iikely Portland will be looking for the next Batum in future drafts.

Another terrible defensive night for the Warriors. Long gone are there nightly blowouts on good teams.

doesn't matter if they need one or not

with those 3 guys already on the payroll, the Blazers can't afford a big scorer at SF. Those kind of guys get paid a lot. Look at what Batum and Parsons got and neither are big scorers

Portland is already spending 30M a year on the SF position. That's buying them, at the moment, about 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 2 steals a game. That's an overpay for sure, but because Harkless is a relative bargain it's not an egregious overpay

The Clippers are playing good but looking at their roster they can't sustain this offense. As seen last night absolutely getting stopped in their tracks at the end of the 3rd qrt to the end of the game. Gallo has gone back to his previous years versions of not being able to hit the side of a barn, after a really good season last year.

They look between somewhere apathy and boredom... I don't think the start is indicative of anything.

Still early in the year, but again we see Mcollum have the highest scoring/efficient pull-up scoring in the league, 2nd in pullup scoring at 9.8ppg behind Harden's 12 and does it shooting 47.5% on such shots higher than anyone in the top 10 scoring such shots.

On 3pt pullups McCollum makes 1.7 a game 3rd behind than Harden and Eric Gordon ( 3.7 and 1.9 made a game) But shoots a higher percentage on 3 pt pullups than anyone in the top 25 at WHOOOOOOOPING 56% on such shots. Crazy to see a player make over 50% YES 50 PERCENT on 3 pointers OFF THE DRIBBLE!!!!

https://stats.nba.com/players/pullup/?sort=PULL_UP_FG3M&dir=1

I wanna see a bigger jump in 3pt attempts by CJ. Remember 2 years ago when Curry averaged 30ppg after taking 11 threes instead of 7. that maybe a bit drastic, but I wanna see 8 threes a night from him.

as long as he gets decent looks I am fine with that, but we don't want to see him put pressure on himself like I think Dame does at times and take lower percentage shots

the injuries sure seem to be piling up around the league

Blazers are missing Aminu, then Sunday they played Memphis who was missing Conley and Brandan Wright. Tonight Portland plays the 76ers who are missing Markelle Fultz, Justin Anderson, and Nik Stauskas. Then they play Brooklyn who is missing Jermey Lin (gone for season) and D'angelo Russel (knee surgery)

Paul Milsap is having wrist surgery and will miss a couple of months. Mirza Teletovic is having knee surgery and will miss at least a month. And all this coming on top of the rash of injuries that started the season

maybe it's always this bad but I sure don't recall it being so

Man, the Thunder sure have been a massive disappointment thus far. I'm starting to legitimately question if this is just as good as they can be with the mishmash of stars they've assembled.
