it will be an interesting game. Two teams with 4-3 records expecting to be in the battle for playoff seeding. Portland, supposedly, has the superior offense, Utah the superior defense. Portland has been playing some ugly basketball and Utah likes to ugly games up.... might be hard to watch at times

so far, after all the pre-season chatter from the Blazers about wanting to get off to a good start to the season, it's beginning to look a lot like the ragged starts of the previous 2 seasons

The jazz are such a wild card this year. I don't doubt they could make the playoffs but who knows what losing heyward does to them

Great to see Nurkic active early.

I don't like this thing where we take Nurkic out while the opposing team has a HUGE player on the floor. We should be matching Nurkic to Gobert.

If we're going to rest Nurkic when their dominant bigmen are in the game than we better start to stagger him to when they're out. I don't like this thing where we've got Vonleh and Ed Davis manning up on Gobert at all.

Donovan Mitchell is nice.

Mitchell showing why he quickly shot up draft boards. Reminds me of a young Wes Mathews with a better 3pt shot.

So far this has looked very different than other Blazer games...Lillard is dominating the Basketball.

This team absolutely falls apart with CJ as the main scorer right now. He's back to overdribbling. Connaughton looking like crap is hurting too though.

Yea... some of it's CJ... the guy is playing like **** as a primary scorer, overdribbling... making bad passes... he's been doing it most of the year. Feels like he started this way last year too, he's just garbage as a 1 (PG).

When will the first field goal of this second quarter come?

Stotts needs to fix the rotations though. These lineups where CJ is the only guy who can shoot at all are not going to work. Put Napier in at the 1, McCollum at the 2, and Turner at the 3.
