There were 3 times in this game that I wanted to jump through the TV and pummel a player... the last 6.6 seconds of the first quarter. Turner single handedly gave up 6 points. Turner for dribbling out of control and turning the ball over on a pass to Aminu on the sideline. Aminu for dribbling the friggin ball and turning it over for the umpteenth time. Is he really that big of an idiot that he doesn't realize he can't dribble the friggin ball on a fast break? Lillard needs to hit him upside the head and then hit him again for good measure. He also took the ball away from McCollum grabbing the rebound and fast breaking at the end of the quarter (I can't remember which). Instead, he grabs it, then tries to push it up and Shabazz gets off a rush shot late. That would not have happened had McCollum got the ball.

Well we didn't see any of those silly plays in the 4th, I mean it seems like Turner and Aminu were shying away from the ball or working hard to not turn it over when they did have it.

I also give Aminu a bit more slack on that because his defense leads to a good number of extra possessions so if he turns it over once in a while it's annoying but not a huge deal.

You can't blame Evan for this one. He combined 50 points with Lillard tonight.

Oddly officiated game with that flagrant foul call on ET which led to 6 GSW points. Portland seemed
afraid to get too close to their man but got to hand to them, they kept their composure and had
enough to hold on for the win. It helped Steph had a bad night but even on a bad night, their
precision passing game is great to watch. I wish we had a better player than Mo to put put on the
court for we'd be really tough with a prime Batum (not the overpaid Charlotte player Batum).

Did they waive him before the loss to Utah and then sign him again? :o

This game just shows how important Nurk is. He is really the only other starting caliber player we have on our team to help Dame and CJ. Aminu is borderline but ideally he would be a good player off the bench.

This is what it is so damn frustrating when he plays up and down. Collins need to accelerate his development drastically to alleviate this importance we are putting on Nurk. Still man oh man what a win! we made it so tough on everybody not named Durant on defense. I can't remember a time we defended Curry this well.

Dame has really changed his shot distribution. Maybe it is just recency bias but I remember him being awful in the floater zone, now he is making big time floaters. Hitting those ultra deep shots help too I guess. To think he almost wasn't an allstar this year over Lou Williams. SMH.

Interesting stat.
When we win it's a team effort. When we loose it's Turners fault. He rarely gets any kudos. Well at least he's making a ton of $$$$

Turner doesn't get many 'kudos' because he doesn't deserve many. He'll have an occasional good game, but everybody knows he'll inevitably follow with a bad game. He's established that M.O. over his NBA career. He's not even that good defensively and that was supposed to be a strength; but he has a worse defensive rating then the team and that's pretty revealing even if the eye test isn't.

he's a square peg in a league with round holes to fill. Worse is that he's a real expensive square peg that is staining Portland's payroll ledger. Generically, that's not his fault, it's the fault of Blazer management. But Turner's play over the first 2 seasons of his deal has sapped all benefit-of-doubt and exhausted patience. Every time he makes a bonehead play, and he makes plenty, people will think about his contract and how stuck the Blazers are because of it. Hard to generate kudos in those circumstances

That isn't fair... There have been plenty of times where he has been called out for having a good game... it's just so infrequent compared to the usual giant turd he delivers.
