so anyhow...it's my wife's birthday today. Her sister has a 'birthday dinner party' at her house set up for tonight...be there at 6pm. And I know it will be 3 hours or so...maybe longer

now I know it would be petty of me to resent my wife's birthday party because it conflicts with a silly basketball game. So I won't...maybe

the one thing about the line-ups that jumps out to me is the Moore/Turner matchup at SF. Moore is 6'4; Turner is 6'7 and his 'strength' is posting up smaller players so we may see a lot of that....I hope not because I think it's boring-ugly basketball to watch. But on the other end of the court, Moore is very quick and runs well around screens; and Turner's big defensive weakness is guarding quickness

this matchup may be a 'who-blinks-first' situation, although Stotts may mix and match perimeter defensive assignments

you could lobby for an early c-section but that might make you a bit unpopular

my guess is that they believe that Rondo/Holiday are better opposition for Dame/CJ then Aminu is for Davis. They may be right about that, but there will be other variable at work in this series

Agreed especially home court advantage. I don't doubt no can steal 1 game in Portland but I think no's only path to winning this series is in a game 6 since I don't see Portland losing a game 7 on our home court & while they post matchup problems for us they likely aren't good enough to beat us in a sweep or 5.

Let's get this win and start this series off right, I expect both teams to come out hungry in this first game.

you should go to bed real early and get up real early....although if you plan on drinking that would mean it's a breakfast beverage

if you don't mind me asking, where are you living?

I could do that, but I wont, cause I dont have to get up early... it depends really, sometimes I watch the whole game live, sometimes just 1st half, then replay of the 2nd half tomorrow, sometimes whole game on replay... tonight or this morning (whatever you like) I plan to watch the whole game live

its always either 4:00 am or 4:30 am when the Blazers play at home, but games on the east coast starts from 1:00 am... its 9 hour difference between Portland and europe (europe 9 hour forward), so its 0:30 am here now

Im from Bosnia&Herzegovina, was Portland fan even before Nurk was traded here...

In a situation like this, I would be watching the game on my cell phone. Maybe that's why I have an x-wife.
