But this again, is why I don't like Stotts.... I hate this offense.... so predicated on jumpshooting.... and regardless of the fact that Portland has **** jumpshooters, that doesn't matter.... just take bad jumpshots and live or die with it.

Started out well but the starters offense(other than Turner ) has been beyond poor. If the starters can start hitting shots it will be very helpful

Length is bothering the Blazers once again.

CJ showing his colors tonight. All or nothing at all.

Lillard will get going, but something has been off with CJ for a while now.

Not gonna win many games when Turner is your leading scorer.

To give an idea of how poor CJ and Dame shot this half , if they shot just 40% they would be tied or ahead

This is pathetic. Stotts should try coaching, and Dame and CJ need to arrive to the arena because I haven't seen them tonight.

I'm starting to get really angry with Stotts and its only game 1. Evan Turner should not be in the game. That's a giant freaking red flag.

CJ McCollum just doesn't work in this series. He needs to get a lot less minutes too.

The concern right now is that New Orleans defense looks really big out there. Lillard looks a bit intimidated. THey keep trying to force the ball out of his hands with traps because they know there are enough guys out there who cant make NO pay

Turner is the leading scorer for the Blazers and has played solidly (apart from those 3 TOs). It's been one half, lets simmer down and see what happens before we start with blame game...

Suggestions for 2nd half
1) Get Nurkic the ball more(only 3 attempts in the first half)
2) Have CJ use his mid-range game more. The 3 ball isn't falling and the height of the Pelicans is hurting him on drives so try the mid-range game to get him going
3) Damian just needs to hit shots
4) Shabbaz needs to act more as a passing pg to help get other players going.

I forgot I changed the channel during halftime and I wondered why CSN kept playing like a huge block of programming about Elvis.

Thats one reason why I think por could do well in the playoffs, they've been getting terrible offense and still almost beating the best teams. It seems like lillard and cj should return to their season averages at some point, but will it be soon enough?
