well, some days nothing goes right....and other days, everything goes wrong....the Ducks have managed to cram both of those days into 30 minutes of football

Man the adjustments made by the coaches after half-time were damn impressive it's night and day from the 1st half to the second.

Well, at least they had a good 2nd half showing to make the game respectable. But that first half was brutal. They still pretty close to being in position to tie it up, after being down 27-0. But you can't expect to win football games by playing like they did in the 1st half.

This was their first flat out loss of the season.

Oregon almost pulled it off in the second half a few more plays go their way and then WSU might have been the ones stunned like we were when Stanford beat us.

Yeah but that first half was disgraceful. It's hard trying to win playing comeback.

Hebert has been looking like crap lately. Has the national attention got to his head? He doesn't look anything close to a #1 overall as of late.

Looks like both Oregon teams tonight are going to spot their opponent big leads in the first half.

This team beat Washington a couple of weeks ago, and looked like a playoff contender, Now all of a sudden they look like total crap.

Justin Herbert....that poor kid is losing millions of dollars with his play. His draft stock has to be plummeting.

The NY football Giants have a desperate need for a QB. Even playing like crap, he might be their pick
for Mitch Trubisky is nothing special but went third. NFL teams think getting their guy into a pro scheme
and away from the college spread is for the better.

I never dreamed the Ducks could look this bad with Herbert. I thought at the very least games would be a shootout if the defense wasn't playing well. But two weeks in a row, the offense has been abysmal. Pathetic showing. It's like they figured they won their super bowl by beating Washington, and quit on the rest of the season.

my wife and I went to a dinner where no football was on so mercifully, I didn't watch the Ducks get slaughtered. Came home, checked the score, threw up in my mouth, then watched the 2nd half of the Blazer game on DVR which didn't help matters....won't watch the Duck game

bad night for my teams, but that's why they make vodka

college football is a crazy game. FSU wins the natty in 2013, then kicks their coach out last year because their starting QB gets hurt and they under perform. A&M then poaches that coach, making a coach that has overachieved based off of his talent level on the market. FSU then poaches Oregon's recent head coach, because anytime you can throw a huge contract at a coach that went 7-5 with a 1 and 5 year average top 20 recruiting class, you got to take that chance. so now Sumlin is on the market and Oregon has a need for a coach, but the A.D. who had success rocking the boat with Altman decides to try to keep continuity and promotes Cristobal. so not only is Oregon 0-2 versus coaches that were rumored to have interview (Harsin being the other), they're blown the **** out 0-2.

the great news is that Oregon currently has the #3-7 recruiting class depending on your source. so even if they fall a bit due to decommits, they should still be top 15. and that's Oregon's excuse, right? a lack of talent. if Herbert is truly the #1 pick in the draft, imagine how much better they will be once they upgrade.

football kept me away from basketball tonight. but a 42 point game from Lillard in a loss to a 28 point night by Dragić and a 19 point night by a 36 year old Wade basically spoiled the Blazers-Heat game without reading a single line.

I blocked off a section of my day from 5 -10 to watch the Blazers and Ducks and they both looked like crap. I need to re-think this whole sports watching thing. It's a waste of life.

You do know the 2020 draft will have Alabama QB Tua in it?

I would not clean house yet with this coaching staff. I believe Jim Leavitt has proven himself to be a quality defensive coach. This staff has done a great job recruting, and this program desparately needs that. Maybe a new OC, but I'd hate to see yet another house cleaning.

Not sure what is going on with this team, but let's not forget the good they've shown, beating Cal on the road, beating Washington, whipping Stanford for a half.
