I'm really anxious to see this game. Obviously, New Orleans is a bit different without playoff Rondo in the mix, but so are the Blazers. It will be interesting to see if Gentry continues to trap Lillard, and if Stotts responds with a small lineup that is good off the dribble and from deep. Potentially having Stauskas and Curry as triple threats at the 3pt line after two passes is much different than Aminu and Turner.

I gotta think the Blazers should be laser focused for this one. New Orleans has been playing well, but AD and Jrue both played over 40 minutes last night...

last year's string of good injury luck continues

it will be disappointing if AD is out

Yeah, of all teams, I'd much rather play New Orleans at full strength.

Meh... we'll have plenty more opportunities. I'll take as many early wins as I can, assuming the Blazers take care of business. Every game played is another game of development for guys like Collins and Swanigan. I'm also hoping that CJ can start stringing together some good games to get his swagger back. He's had a couple of solid outings since his rough start, but we need him to start playing at that consistent 20 point guy level he's been in the past. Hopefully on his efficiency from 2 years ago.

I watched the Pelicans vs Warriors game. So far, the Pelicans are not the same team they were last year in the playoffs. Still, they gave Warriors a hell of a game. Certainly, they are good enough to beat the Blazers. We need to have a good game to win.

Nice start to the game by the Blazers, definitely not taking this game for granted with AD sitting out.

Randle making Collins look like an untested rookie.

Good god the refs are blowing a whistle for any tick tack foul in this game.

it's the new rules and how the NBA wants them enforced. The league apparently wants plenty of offense

but isn't it funny how those rules will favor the Warriors

Randle getting away with a lot though. The guy has been out of control on about half his points... But he's getting rewarded for them.

Blazers should just have Nurkic run through people if this is how they're going to call the game.
