past two games, especially against sacramento, nurk was a non factor on the offensive end (when it comes to shooting the ball) and that not how this team should play, for the very simple reason, this team plays better when nurk gets touches... hes all about team basketball, he doesnt demand touches, but he should if he wants to elevate into all-star player... nurk should have that mind-set and terry stotts should have that mind-set, you have a player with all-star potential, develop him into one!

you can keep him behind cj mccollum or you can let him become second best player on this team (which he already is this season, but hes not treated that way)... but i guess he wont become second player on this team given cj mcollums contract and given terry stotts system that prefers shooting

Nurkic's usage rate is 23.5%, higher than 88% of other bigs in the league. His assist rate is 16.5%, higher than 87% of the league's bigs. On the other hand, his PSA (points per shot attempts) is 1.12, better than only 32% of the bigs and his turnover percent is 14.5%, better than 38% of bigs. Hence arguing for greater usage seems a bit forced .But yes, his usage rate v. Sac. was comparatively low. On the other hand was that a product or cause of his PSA being but 0.86?

I was surprised at how little we went to Nurkic against Sacramento when in the previous game against them Sacramento had zero answers for Nurkic posting up. He was making all of their big men look like complete trash, and he was clearly outclassing them, then in the next game we get caught up in a guard vs. guard shooting battle which we can win, but is much more of a risk proposition when Sac has some solid guards.
