I got stuck in a hotel elevator once for about two and a half hours...

After a show I played (I'm a musician) the guitarist and I were heading up to our respective rooms at about 2am and "clunk" the elevator just stopped. We tried calling down to the lobby using the little red phone, but hilariously it was dead. Luckily, this was after cell phones were invented and our hotel keys had the number for the hotel. We were told not to panic, but that they would get the local emergency repairman there as soon as possible. I can't remember exactly where we were now, but it was a pretty small town/city somewhere in California. In the moment, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it was going to be a while for this repairman to get us out at that late hour...so...

We were both about half drunk when we got in the elevator and we were all the way drunk when we got out. The owner of the venue we had played that night had gifted us bottles of wine that he had made. Fortunately, the guitarist had a leatherman with a corkscrew in his guitar case...

Seems like Blazers managed to hit their ceiling even on an elevator..
