Blazers doing a decent job keeping this team at arm's length despite some miscues and some sloppy play at times.

Hopefully Memphis lays down like they did against OKC.

Well at least the Thunder are losing big against the Wolves.

I swear Conley is one of the biggest Blazer killers in the entire league. I feel like he plays his best games of the season against us 9 times out of 10.

I know it seems like that, but he averages 14.0 PPG against Portland (before this game) vs a 14.7 career average.

He certainly is killing Portland tonight. Sheesh.

Portland took Memphis lightly. They had them down and lifted their foot off the gas pedal

I don't understand why Aminu is still on this team.... He's just not a very good player. He's taking time away from the development of better players.

Bad game for Portland to give away in the seeding race.

The refs sure did make it tough on the Blazers though 36 FT's for Grizz vs. 21 for the Blazers. Tough to really show aggressive defense when the refs seem to be blowing the whistle one way.

Conley was also red hot from the realm of three pointers 6-7 attempts probably the best 3 point shooting he has shown in the last 100 games. **** their entire team shot 48.1% from 3 point range which has to be one of if not their best shooting from distance in the entire season.

To me it seemed like Memphis was playing physical as well, which should lead to more foul calls on them.

Can anyone explain to me why the Grizz traded Gasol but not Conley? I mean aren't they rebuilding? Why on earth do they want a 31 year old Conley to try to win them games?

Pretty rough timeline to be looking at guys younger than 24 in most cases much younger, and then have a 31 year old PG be trying to lead them if you ask me.

I think they likely tried to (there were rumors of a trade with Utah), but obviously nothing went through.

I have a lot of respect for Conley - a very good PG who has never gotten an All Star nod and who always plays tough, regardless of whether Memphis is lottery-bound or contending.

Yep, Oden was 100% right we should have worked to get Conley alongside him **** any trade to get Conley likely would have turned out pretty well for Portland.

I guess Conley did go #4 though so that was the biggest barrier in acquiring him.

Every time I watch Layman on the court he really impresses me. We really need to be running lineups with him with the starters instead of Aminu. He reminds me a lot of Batum where he isn't great at anything but really solid at everything

Layman had a great night tonight he was paramount in multiple plays that led to good scoring and nabbed some key rebounds. I love every aspect of his game except defense though even there he seems to be improving slowly.

Blazers must do everything in their power to keep Layman unless he gets some stupidly insane offer.

What a post poor finish. All this talk about how deep the Blazers bench is now, but they're actually not that good. Sure, Hood had 27 last game, but 1 good game every 7 outings, or however long he's been here. Turner looked really rusty, Curry couldn't hit anything. If the Blazers expect to di anything in the playoffs, the bench needs to come through.
