Don't want to jinx anything, but Yahoo posted their reporters bracket predictions. Two out of 4 of their reporters have the Blazers getting to the WCF....

There may be a little home town love from Hayes going on there, he started his media career in Portland covering Dames first few years, so that may have a bit to do with it, but don't know the Vincent Goodwill guy.

Most pundits do believe that whoever comes out of this series is going to the WCF. Just the most of them (probably rightfully so unfortunately) have OKC as the one to do it.

Wow, both 2 and 3 seeds went down today out East.

Hope that trend doesn't continue tomorrow.

I'm hoping that all the first round upset game one wins happen today and we just kinda.. avoid it all tomorrow.

But to be honest, if we don't make it out of the first round it'd be super fun to cheer on the likes of Orlando and Brooklyn.

I'm still enjoying rooting for them. Although I like the Raps well enough, the Sixers however... I'll be happy to see them go down in finger-pointing flames.

I will live in a world where Philly loses in the first round and we somehow convince all parties to do a sign and trade of Butler for CJ.

I'm so on the fence with Butler. He's so good but man he seems like a nightmare teammate and in the lockerroom. I really can't tell how he'd give with Dame.

I agree there's absolutely concerns there. I personally feel like he's a super serious guy in terms of honing his craft and not goofing off in games or practice. We know he seems to have an issue with younger guys who might have some concentration issues. I think he'd get along well with Dame's leadership style because 1. Dame's a serious guy about playing. 2. Dame doesn't mind giving up touches. I think he knows how to handle egos, he plays the right way, and I don't think he'd care if Jimmy, for example, shot the same amount of shots as him.

I agree he's super serious, and I think that would work well with this team, they like to have fun but bball comes before anything else. That said, he just kinda comes off as a prick too. I would trust Dame to navigate it, but I also don't think Dame's ever had to deal with a player like him before in the lockerroom.

I guess I would just worry about trading someone who he's as close with in CJ for a guy who's as volatile and combative as Butler. Who knows though, maybe it would be fine.... maybe Dame and Jimmy are close and we don't know about it?

I guess in the case of Denver this might be a matter of careful what you wish for?

Denver is gonna learn the very hard lesson of not having a player that can avg 25ppg will not take you very far in this league.
