perhaps people need to spew more bile at him for being hurt

apparently, they have said on a Portland radio that it first happened against Denver, and the Looney bellyflop made it much worse

The injuries have been horrible. Kanter playing basically with one arm, Hood with a bad knee and of course no Nurk because of his broken leg. And this team still made it to the conference finals despite it. Before all those injuries, I was very excited to see what type of run a healthy team could have made. Now we'll never know.

But to find out that Dame has been injured since the Nuggets series... DAMN!!!

They only release this after he has the worst showing in this playoffs. Dame was playing well the 4th quarter after he got hurt. He's not hurt. Maybe he has some pain but to blame his performance on ribs is just an excuse. If hes hurt he needs to be on the bench because he was a minus 23 or so today.

Even Dame and the team aren't blaming this for his performance. It's alright just a learning experience. They aren't use to playing this late in the season. But if you lace them up and play bad, you play bad no excuses.

Too much pain medication apparently. His play was really bad, and though Stotts wasn't helping him much either, Dame's post game interview was truly baffling to me... He's delusional.

I've had a rib separation and it hurt like hell, there is pain just breathing and moving and man don't cough or sneeze! This explains a lot to me as Dame just did not look or act like himself. Yeah he could have made better decisions many times and be more careful with the ball but when you are in pain like that it effects the mental as well as the physical. Kanter with the shoulder is not nearly the same player either and top that off with the fasting and its basically a man down. Its a bummer as I think we could have been a good bit more competitive with a healthy Dame and Enes, oh well these guys have over achieved as it is, a really good season.

Given Dame's injury and that we are down 3-0 I'd actually like to see Simons get 10-15 minutes and some playoff experience and see how he plays against the best

I believe it. And I tend to believe that the injury actually happened in the Denver series and was aggravated by Looney. Could Lillard be playing better? Of course...

But I don't believe that's really the reason that Golden State has totally demolished the Blazers in 3rd and 4th quarters of games. Hell, CJ had arguably a worse game than Lillard last night and he didn't have a rib injury to pin it on.

Golden State without Durant has reverted back to being one of the best NBA teams all-times. That is what is beating the Blazers in the second half of games.
