I felt really **** before last year and they blew my mind.

I feel really good about this season so expecting disappointment.

So far, we have 49, 50, 52, 53, 46, 54, 42, 41, 48, 48, 41, 38, and 52. That's an average of 47. I had no idea there was so much pessimism about the team. I thought after years of people calling for irrational changes that all the current rational changes would lead to some optimism.

I’m in the 50-52 range (maybe 53) with 3 for 3 (3rd place 3 yrs running).
So I’ll go 52. Tight race in the West (4-8) with 52 enough for 3rd.

I'm torn between 41-43 but because I think a lot of our rotation is going to be a **** show I'll say 41.

Blazers aren't missing the playoffs with a prime Dame unless something catastrophic happens. That said, player continuity is questionable after a lot of turnover. I'll go mid-40s barring some game changing mid-season trade.

I don't get your math. You have the Blazers finishing 5th ahead of Warriors and Jazz, but only winning 43 games. Warriors and Jazz are going to win 49-50 games. Mavs and Spurs will win 43 or more.

Honestly I recon 60 wins and fighting it out with the clips for 1st seed in the West.... Everyone seems quite pessimistic here. From my perspective we are clearly better than last year's 53 win /WCF squad.

48 wins after a rough start, lots of variables at play on this years squad. Defense will be an issue, small guards and wings might be an issue. Injuries to the front court could really hurt the win total.

I'm self imposing a ban on myself for making any predictions for this NBA season - Blazers or otherwise. I truly have no idea what is gonna happen. I could just as easily image the Blazers ending up with the #1 overall pick in the lottery as I can envision them winning a title this year. I have no freaking idea.
