I look forward to some meaningful Blazer basketball!
IMO, the WCF will be Denver vs. Clippers, so I'm not expecting a win tomorrow night, but it'll still be interesting to see if the preseason was any kind of indicator for where this Blazer team is at.

I don't see tomorrows game as the first game in a elimination series. It's one of many regular season games where team match ups are irrelevant to the end result. Nuggets can sweep the Blazers in the regular season and Blazers can beat the Nuggets in a 7 game playoff series when it's all about match ups. I believe the Blazers addressed their match up difficulties we had in last years playoffs, but that isn't necessarily going to translate to winning regular season games. Regular season success is more about having a good formula or a general game plan that you are able to regularly execute to perfection. Blazers do have a good formula, but our new group of players plugs some weaknesses that good teams could exploit when focused on preparing to specifically play the Blazers.

Sure. On paper anything is possible. Nobody has seen this Blazer team play a meaningful game, so they could go 82-0 or 0-82 and nobody has any real proof otherwise at this point.
As I always say in my prediction posts, injuries are a huge component in both regular season and post season success. You can have the most talented players in the NBA but if they are in street clothes it means nothing in the W column. The Lakers come to mind.
If Denver stays healthy and can build on the continuity that they've built up the past few seasons, they are going to be a tough matchup for anybody...especially considering their HCA.

1. Unselfish play with 25+ Assists. Make the extra pass to get great shots instead of good ones.
2. Play great Defense as a unit especially around the rim, with good weak side help, and rotations.
3. Win the rebound battle.
4. Play uptempo the whole game. Have Denver exhausted be the 4th.
