with Collins and Whiteside likely out this is a huge opportunity for Labissiere to show us what he can do. I wonder if Moses Brown gets called up and gets some actual playing time.

Gotta say its bothering me that we have no update on Zach's shoulder, good news is usually put out quickly and bad news not so much, the injury was last Sunday and nothing all week.

Maybe torn labrum? I think there's varying degrees of how serious that would be, but not a great sign.

When Meyers tore his I think they let him come back quickly, and then he re-dislocated it and was out several months.

The article also says Batum had surgery on his labrum and missed 45 games. So it could be a while for Zach.

Can we knock this team around a bit? I can't stand this 6ers team a bunch of entitled ****. They just seem to be getting more unlikable as the years go by.

Let's go Blazers let's get a W.

I hate this teams offense. It's so horrible to watch. Just a bunch of perimeter action that never actually succeeds in getting easy looks.

Also... CJ has been plain awful outside of one game so far this year. We say this every year.... but the guy HAS TO DO SOMETHING when his shot isn't falling, he's just such a drain on the team when he's tunnel visioning and missing.

Edit: Things looking a lot better now that CJ isn't touching the ball a bunch.

Pretty good effort by the Blazers here really trying hard without Whiteside in the lineup.

Beautiful start so far! Glad to see Mario’s dynamic play have an impact, and Tolliver is contributing as well. Without Whiteside, these contributions are huge and needed.

Zach Collins out indefinitely with shoulder surgery. Got to figure that Portland is going to look at bringing in a serviceable vet at this point. So thin up front now.

Portland may be up... but this doesn't look good at all. Portland taking jumpers... Philly getting uncontested layups.

Well with no big man in the middle it's going to be tough just like when Nurkic was down. If Skal was known more as a shot blocker they would think twice about driving.

I feel like CJ should be taking about 15 shots a game... not 21. He's just such a black-hole. I can't help but feel like extending him was a massive mistake. Still want to move him for a wing or big.

Sure... I understand, but they literally are barely contesting.

Well this team will likely have to make a decision between CJ and Simons if Simons develops into another guard to be reckoned with. There is a very small chance we keep all 3 if Simons becomes a player on CJ's level.

We need much better rebounding to really compete here we can't give them second chance points.

Bench unit really needs to play better here against this team.
