idk why they are starting tolliver at the 4. i honestly would much rather go small with hezonja at the 4. but tolliver is best suited for the bench. i really dont know why we didn't sign someone like faried or monroe or someone

I'm surprised how good Tolliver is. I knew he was a good smart player but he is better than I expected. Good thing, because without Collins we are going to need him.

Tolliver is also the perfect replacement for Collins. If you compare the skill sets, the only thing Tolliver doesn't have is Zach's rim protection.

I thought that Skal was the perfect back up to Collins, but considering he doesn't shoot the 3 nearly as well, I understand why Terry goes with Tolliver. Trent just checked in... sigh

I think the answer to the trivia question is Tolliver

That's 3 on Stein. Feed Whiteside.

We've often played GS pretty close. But imagine if we went to GS, and it was announced that all of their starters and 80% of the 2nd unit would be out for the game.....and we don't even win the half....

Sometimes these sorts of games are hard to prepare for. I know Portland has won some of these types of games in years past when they have been super short-handed.

Portland should win this game, and I think they will, but these games can be tricky.

I feel that the Tolliver praise is a low key attempt to stir the potvon here. We're all done with this PF rotation. I'm starting to feel like Nassir would be a better 12 minute per game option than Tolliver...Even Hoard has a sort of Aminu light feel to his game.
From Portland to Reno to Vegas to LA to SLC and on to HotLanta. Winning at life. Too Blessed to be Stressed

I'd much rather see either one of those guys, or even Moses, than seeing Trent get minutes. He's terrible.

I saw 4 times where CJ made a good pass that resulted in scoring. Seems like he is playmaking a little better this game. And a lot to like from a lot of Blazers. Simons still looking impressive.

The tricky part of winning is not overlooking your opponent. You lose if you allow games like this to be an excuse to not be ready to play 100%.

This game just isn't it for Tolliver. He's got no chance against Paschell and he's really not doing much on offense.

Asst. coach is right... Trap game for sure. It would be wise to slow it down and play an 80's style game, feeding Whiteside in the low post, instead of run and gun.

Portland's defense is untenable. It's abominable. I have no idea what they can do. Half the players look lost on the defensive end... This team is just bad right now.
