Without Whiteside, I fear Thompson and later Nance will dominate their offensive boards.

With Lillard, Collins, Whiteside, and Nurkic out, the only player we have that would start for the Cavs is CJ.

I heard a relative of CJ's had passed away very recently and he's from Ohio so I think he'll be focused on his family while there. Hopefully he is doing alright considering.

That play to end the quarter is symptomatic of the lunacy we see under Stotts. Why on earth are we seeing a 1-4 flat iso with Bazemore handling the ball?

Predictably, giving the ball to a bad ballhandler, who's also a bad passer, and telling him to create a good play turns into a turnover. This team just has way too many guys who have been playing in a role that they have zero hope of actually fulfilling.

Melo looks like he is having fun.

Tolliver is our leading scorer the first half.

It gets harder and harder to imagine Stotts coaching the Blazers next season. I readily admit that the roster isn't great. But the losses and last second heroic wins against markedly less talented teams are beginning to mount.

This Cavs team is terrible, they are thoroughly outplaying the Blazers to this point. They're missing Love.

The Blazers lost against the Golden State G-leaguers

It took the Blazers until overtime to eek out a win against a putrid Hawks team.


It's one thing to lose games to talented playoff teams. But the Blazers haven't truly had a good game yet this season. At some point, it has to fall back on Stotts. The offense has been a disaster all season despite having better offensive players than last year all over the roster. The defense has been abysmal, and the team doesn't seem to play hard. It's hard to imagine Stotts making it out of the season if things continue to look this abysmal.

Strange how the Blazers lost so many of last year's (and previous season's) contributors, while at the same time Stotts lost whatever he may have known about NBA offense. We here are fortunate to have an NBA offensive genius who continuously points this out for us.

Why is Stotts forcing Damian to shot 1 for 9? Stotts is doing this too often in the more recent games.
