Damn, what's wrong with passing it to Whiteside for the dunk?

At least with Whiteside's man guarding the blind Lillard, nobody was there to blockout the missed shot.

1 of those I don't think was really a block. He got some home cooked stats.

When we move the ball we look like a completely different team.

trade Baze for Iggy on the 15th and I think we shock some teams in the playoffs.

It's not just moving the ball. The passes need to catch the defense out of position. It helps when Lillard gives up the ball early to someone who makes a great second pass or gets the ball back to Lillard who gets to reposition without the defensive attention he gets when he keeps the ball. Melo is showing how secondary playmaking can help a team improve its playmaking.

While I would probably reluctantly do that, I don't think Olshey will. It's going to require a 1st rd pick as well, and if Olshey wanted to make that move, he could already have done it. Neither of those players have a Dec. 15 restriction. They could both be moved right now, but I just don't think Olshey wants to give up a 1st rd pick for expiring old Iggy (nor does the rest of the league).

Zero chance Blazers give up a 1st round pick for Iggy. It was dumb when Blazers traded Barton and a 1st for Afflalo. They aren't going to top that dumb move with a dumber one.

I wouldn't' trade a first either. 2 seconds and Baze though... I really want him for the postseason. He shows up... he's a finals MVP ffs.

If Grizzlies announce 1 more time they aren't going to buy him out and waive him, maybe someone will believe them.

Boy, those Bulla would not go away tonight. Too bad Whiteside shot so poorly. He could have had a triple double, although I didnt think that last one was actually a block.

Great game tonight nice to see the Blazers step up in the 4th and really impose their will. I knew the Bulls would be hungry for this victory with the complete beat down we gave them in Chicago.

Melo and Whiteside both had great games and that is great to see really helps take the weight off Lillard's shoulders.

Kind of a bummer to get a record broken when that last one was obviously not a block
I know the stat keeper though, at least I have fuel for ribbing over the next week.

This was a good win, and Chicago obviously had more energy defensively than over a week ago. I have no idea what happened to Lauri though, he looks like a completely different player from last year. He looks cowed now and is out of position on both ends of the floor waaay too much.

Interesting to see Lillard get his numbers “quietly” tonight. You can tell he’s really looking for whatever is going to work to get wins.

I can’t say enough about Hood. Both he and Melo being triple threats and forcing teams to defend out to the corner 3pt lines really changes things for this team offensively...

Defensively, they’re still pretty much a mess...but it’s getting slightly better over longer stretches of time.
