A "scheduled loss" is a free chance to undo an unscheduled loss.

Lakers are probably the best team in the NBA right now. Blazers have nothing to lose and everything to win in a game like this. I think Blazers are going to surprise some people. The obvious question is, how can we compete with the Lakers with the addition of AD? The subtraction of Ingram helps more than you think. Ingram was the toughest matchup for us other than LeBron on last years Laker team. Ingram could defend CJ or Lillard and his height and athleticism made him an impossible cover for CJ. We never tried to cover Ingram with Lillard, but I'm sure that would've been more disastrous than covering him with CJ was. Were going to have some problems matching up against AD, but only on defense does he make the Lakers a tougher competitor than Lakers were last year for us. And, we don't have a head to head defensive assignment where Davis can have a big impact. Davis's impact is going to be as a help defender.

Pull out a full court press. I know, I know-----but the height difference must be neutralized someway.
