Home game for the Lakers on the first game they played since Kobe's death... yeah, I'm expecting huge rigging by the refs tonight.

BTW, Melo is out tonight and it is listed as personal reasons.

There's no such thing as a bad win. This would be an especially good win. A perfect opportunity to stick it to the Lakers.

This isn't good. Nothing should be more important than winning this game.

I also expect ESPN to be constantly talking Kobe. I will be watching the Blazer feed for the sake of my sanity.

Did Lakers score all their points so far off fast breaks?

This team's defense is pathetic.

I can appreciate this take where one doesn't consider that both teams are playing with a sort of low energy since all the players, all the employees, and all the fans in the stadium just went through an intensely emotional mini memorial of a person who passed away that many of them knew.

A+ on the empathy, red_power.

Still it's not like the last day of Pompey.

Bottom line, I'm here to see a basketball game not a funeral ceremony.

I do think Kobe would appreciate a good game from both teams tonight. That is likely the best team in the western conference and under normal circumstances would likely beat Portland handily but I expect LA to win anyway.

I agree. I would rather not have to listen to the dead Kobe celebration when I'm trying to watch a game.

I can't find a Blazers feed of this game. There are 2 national feeds, one is way less bad than the other.

The one with Mark Jackson is unlistenable.

You guys are the bottom 1% of the basketball public. This is a very emotional game from the players POV which likely haven’t had to deal with tragedy amongst their peers. The older players have experienced tragedy and can deal with it
