I am a bit worried that Hassan's play the past two games will make management more hesitant to move him. At the same time, it may have raised his trade value. I am still hoping for a Whiteside, Simons and ??? for RoCo and Dieng type deal. I think that brings us close to a similar talent base and team makeup that Dallas used to win their one-off title.
Yep... I do not sacrifice the ability to get a long term part using Whiteside's contract and our pick to make the playoffs this season. If I thought a Whiteside / Nurk combo was feasible and we could get Whiteside for a reasonable price in the off-season, I might consider keeping him, but I don't think either of those things are realities of the situation.
