You're getting an &1 from me for this GLB, BC. While I think her lips are photoshopped in this pic...she's amazingly, naturally beautiful. One of those rare people who get twice as attractive when they smile...
On a lighter note, I think the Blazers are going to lose this game to Miami. Even though the Blazers had a day off, that last game seemed extra exhausting mentally and physically. If the Blazers don't get Whiteside back, it's going to be even tougher.
I feel sorry for whomever is tasked with trying to guard Lillard. He'll be fired up, I'm sure. Hopefully he still continues to play smart and exploit what the defense gives him.

Hezonja is playing so bad. It’s like he has no self confidence or skips practices or something to look that out of sync.

Trent Jr looking good again. Same with Ariza.

I thought it was going to be Ant who made CJ expendable but ultimately it could be Trent

Some encouraging things for the future with Trent Jr somehow starting to play quite well offensively and starting to have big defensive moments as well. Wouldnt be surprising to see Simons and trent jr as good players next season. Ariza has looked like a great fit as well.

Trent is really coming along for it helps him with all the injuries that he gets consistent PT. For the next step, he’ll need to improve his handle but he’s become a rotation player which is nice to see!

Couldn't watch much of the game, but pumped Portland won. Portland has gone 11-9 to start that brutal 22-game stretch Wiz mentioned, including 8-5 over the past 13, 11 of which are currently in the playoff picture with +.600 records. For as lacking in energy and focus as this team has seemed over prolonged stretches this season, they have shown a lot of heart and grit to put themselves in position to compete for a playoff spot.
538 now gives Portland a 53% chance of making the playoffs based on their RAPTOR forecast, and 43% based on their ELO forecast:
RAPTOR:
Portland: 53%
New Orleans: 37%
Memphis: 9%
Sacramento: 2%
San Antonio: 1%
ELO:
Portland: 43%
Memphis: 35%
New Orleans: 17%
San Antonio: 7%
Sacramento: 3%
I don't know if this accounts for the probable return of Nurkic and (hopefully) Collins, so it's promising for Portland's playoff hopes that they have performed this way. These next 3 games against New Orleans (twice) and Memphis could be huge.

I came home just in time to watch the 4th quarter...that was some pretty crappy basketball from the Blazers. ISO after ISO with almost zero movement. Looked like they were playing to not lose rather than win.
Impressed that the Blazers won, though! Ariza has rubbed off on the Shaq of the MAC's kid...he's played with a lot more defensive fire since Ariza has been on the team.

Nice win. I'll take it. Ariza was fired up to start the game. That was great! Trent Jr will hit a shot if he has an open look. Too bad CJ is so inconsistent.
