Celtics have good perimeter defenders. They are going to put lots of pressure on CJ and make it hard for Blazers to get any good shots.

I'm calling it now, this will be a blow out and CJ, Whiteside, Ariza, and Melo will not play in the 4th quarter.

Is there any word on whether if any of the injured players will be ready any time soon?

I expect a huge blowout tonight, as well.
I’m setting the over/under at 25 points. I’ll take the over.

Blazers chances are dramatically improved if Melo has a good game. Celtics play real small. They are starting 4 SF's and a PF and they don't get much bigger when they go to the bench. They have Kanter who is a great scorer in the paint. Melo can give Blazers a chance if his bullyball is effective against Celtic's more athletic wings.

Ariza, CJ, and Melo played ok but not great. The problem is nobody else played well.

I liked Swanigan's effort. Hezonja looked horrible, and Whiteside was out of position way too much.

Swanigan made some nice plays. He didn't play much. We needed one of our floor spacers to make some shots. Celtic's where allowed to put a bullseye on CJ and focus there defense too much. Even CJ didn't make his 2's tonight.

It wasnt as bad as I expected and considering Boston shot 50% on 3 pointers, the Blazers didnt do too badly.
Have a fee issues though... how can that guy box out Whiteside so much for easy layups from their wings? Why does CJ suck so badly from the line this season?

It's only one component of a much bigger problem but...
The way the NBA is shooting more 3pt shots is really exposing Stotts' defensive scheme. He's only had one year (his first) that the team was in the top 10 of opposing 3pt percentage. Every other year has been 15th or lower. This year, so far the Blazers are tied for 26th in the league.
Additionally (and interestingly), even though the Blazers have always been in the top 10 of 3pt % under Stotts, they have always been middling in 3pt shots attempted--somewhere in that 12-22 range.
