Goodbye Biggie

I suspect Swanigan played his last game as a Blazer, again. I really appreciate the effort he gave us to close the year. He didn't play in Sacramento, but his game sure matured there. He played much better for us than I was expecting. I'm certain he is going to find a better opportunity for him this offseason.

i read that he posted too much on the social networks and there was something like cocaine (im not saying it was cocaine, just that it looked like that) on his desk and people were worried about him

I agree that Swanigan looked better in his second stint with the Blazers, especially offensively, where his improved feel does indicate some solid work on his game. His numbers are still ugly but it's never going to be his job to put up numbers. I'm more confident than I was watching him as a rookie that he'll get himself hired to gobble up rebounds, keep the ball moving, and assuredly take open shots. His problems defensively are likely to relegate him to veteran minimum/12th-man type opportunities, but that's still a big step forward from the G-League/10-day/out-of-the-league trajectory he seemed certain to be on before the first trade.

This is news to me. I haven't read anything about this ever. When did this allegedly happen?

Holy crap. Biggie looking like a 50 year old Jay-Z with drugs on his desk... thanks for the spot minutes buddy praying he can move past these demons and get his life back on track. It's an awful situation this young man has place himself into. Even if those are not his, he is still allowing himself to be mixed in with a caustic crowd. He was such an inspiring story at one time, now its a cautionary tale.

Honestly, that can be anything. Who knows what kind of supplements he might be taking...

But it's certainly not a good look on the surface.

Its stupid as hell to post that but honestly, we have no idea if he is a rec user or slipping into Lohan territory. This response seems to assume a lot. Knowing people in the Portland club scene, you would be surprised how many pro athletes dabble in party drugs during the offseason. Lots of guys prefer them to alcohol.

I was reacting to a lot more than just the baggy . Apparently his behavior has been erratic to say the least. Blowing up Twitter and IG with your manic ramblings seems to indicate more than just a wild weekend. He doesn't seem to have anyone willing or able to interject common sense into his public profiles. It all screams lack of judgment.

He was one of the worst players we've had since Nolan Smith.

Smith was versatile in his awfulness, he was terrible at everything.

Nolan was one of the most telegraphed bust 1st round picks I have ever seen.
