Thank you for your service

. Good luck with the remainder of your careers, except in games against the Blazers.

Whiteside behaved. Filled in.
Mario doesn’t get to play with his neighbor Nurkic. Too bad.
Wishing them well.

Where did Whiteside go?

No word yet. But he has to either be gone or sign cheap for Portland to use their MLE. Given Nurk and Kanter, pretty obvious the Blazers aren't going to offer him much and he's gone.

Would love to see some type of S&T with Whiteside, even if it just brings back a TPE.

New TPE at MLE or above ... the gift that keeps giving. I was just glad to see the Blazers actually used one.

Adios Ariza, you occupy a place of shame in my memory. A dishonorable discharge for quitters and cowards. However, I do wish you well and that you redeem yourself somewhere else.

There is no path to a S&T of Whiteside unless we use our BAE to sign Whiteside and trade him, seems very unlike to me. We can't sign Whiteside with bird rights because we have to renounce Whiteside to sign DJJ.

With the Giles signing, it looks like Portland isn't bringing Gabriel back. Best of luck to him as well.

Spot on.
Hope he gets a good opportunity.

HW was a pro in POR.
Wish him luck elsewhere.
Hezonja might need to consider a career change.

We still have 2-way contracts. I wonder if Gabriel still qualifies for a 2-way deal.

Does our 2nd round CJ qualify for a 2-way contract?

I believe so, but he also qualifies for the super low non-first rookie deal, which is probably what he will get.

I want the roster spot though.

Technically, we have a 14th and 15th roster spot. I believe in leaving the 15th spot open for picking over the mid-season buyouts.

I agree, which is why I want the 14th roster spot available rather than giving it to CJ the second. I want a defensive guard that can stay in front of opposing PG's defensively. I dunno who that is though.

I don't think we let Gabriel go unless he expects a bigger role elsewhere... He looked super solid in the bubble when called on.

Im surprised Hassan went for the vet min. He’s dead stats but would’ve guessed someone would throw the mle at him
