It never should need to be made. But alas, some need it. Put that in green.

While I agree Lillard is the reason for our success, I believe our success would be greater without Lillard's heroics. Blazers could jump to the next level if the heroics are replaced with better passing and utilization of teammates.

Oh, I totally agree. Dame's showed signs of brilliance playing like a Steve Nash at times, but then reverts back to a James Harden style. Last year's game 1 against the Lakers is a great example of us playing well as a team. Wish we could just capture that performance, and use it as a blueprint.

Lillard is not even on the scale of floor generalship you are suggesting. It would be amazing if Lillard could reach Harden's level of floor generalship. Harden is quite good at finding the open man and he is certainly a willing passer. It would be amazing if Lillard continues on his path of being coachable and attained incremental improvement.

Okay I have the first post updated with all the current win totals, based on my timeline this is now closed. If people want to post a prediction past this point it will not be part of the first official prediction post.

Here is hoping for a very successful and great season for this team, GO BLAZERS!

Oden2 said 52 out of 82. So, you should adjust his to 46-26, the same win percentage as 52/82.

Charles Barkley bets $100k on Blazers to win the west. Chuck is on my good side again.

What is that, 3 years in a row now he's said the Blazers are either going to win the West or the whole shebang?

I mean one of those years we got to the WCF which was the best the Blazers have done since the 2000 playoffs almost 20 years earlier. If Chuck is the kiss of death then we should have flamed out hard in that season.

I have also updated Oden2's prediction based on a 72 game season. If less or more than 72 games are played this season we will be readjusting all of the predictions based on the % of games won.

It was cool to see him have confidence in portland in that WCF year when there wasn't any real precedent for them pulling that off.

Yeah, I think going into those playoffs most thought at best we were a 2nd round team. Even the most optimistic Blazer fans I remember didn't have us going to the WCF.

****, I think a lot of people were predicting the Thunder would beat us because they handled us so well in the regular season. You also have to factor in we were without Nurkic that entire playoff run, so that was considered a big strike against the Blazers making noise that season.

yeah, after watching the full preseason I dropped my wins from 49 to 42 and that may be too "generous", we have a tough early schedule and could get off to a very bad start

Gotta bump this one. Damn, if they win tonight they hit my forecast, lol

I mean if you told me CJ+Nurk would miss about 40ish% of the season before I made my predicition, I probably would have thought we would have been under 40.

This team dramatically overachieved all things considered when looking at injuries.
