Only 4 assists for Portland. The Blazers absolutely can win, but they need to tighten the D, tune out the refs, and move the ball.

Warriors are being very pesky on D getting into passing lines and pressuring heavily anyone that has the ball. They look much better tonight than they did two days ago.

What's the point of having a coach if we don't run plays?? It's disgusting watching Dame or cj dribble into 3 or 4 players every play without passing the ball once. I'm done with stotts. 8 years of this. It's ugly.

It also helps that it seems like every Warrior player is hitting 3's like it's nothing.

Curry has to be one of the most annoying players in the league no one seems to get more hyped by his shots than he does. He has the same mentality as a Westbrook, with a bit less antics.

Just wondering what the coach's reasoning to have Melo on the floor to close to game. Melo doesn't play D nor a good scorer anymore..

Looks like Lillard injured his finger.

That game was a dumpster fire.

Hard to win a game in the nba with only 16 assists and an opponent fg% of 56/ 38 all while shooting a fairly dismal 42/32.5

Well on the bright side Trent jr played more mins than melo though Trent didn’t have the best game offensively

Melo should just retire, and probably best for CJ to move on to another team.

Also look for a new coach maybe?

May have been a message to the starting backline. All three were rather worthless. Speaking of poor scorers--what about what we have seen thus far of Covington and Jones as offensive contributors? Also if you are going with three guards, the thought was to have more size (height and bulk) than given by Covington and Jones. Also since it appeared that nothing was going to stop Curry, the Blazers better chance was to score more and Anthony offers more promise of that than CO-Jones 19. Personally I would have tried Giles in the 4th q with Kanter, for the same reasons.

There were some turnaround possessions which unfortunately had Trent missing open shots. I think his calf may have been a slight problem, but even at that he was a better alternative than Jones.

Always an interesting question whether assists produces a higher shooting percentage or whether shooting percentage produces more assists. Definitionally the latter is truer.

:) I thought the officiating was piss-poor. I'm not sure when Golden State got 24 fouls. I know they had a few called early in the 4th, but that doesnt make up for the first 3 quarters. I thought Stotts went way too long with Melo and Kanter. Nurkic really needs to find his game. Maybe it's too bad he came back in the bubble. Maybe he would have been more prepared to play had he not played in August. Kanter was good offensively, but sucked defensively. It's kind of a wash in the end, but that won't win games.

It took a career night for Curry and poor officiating to win this game. Can't feel too bad, but it sucks. Blazers need to play well for more than one game in a row.

I didnt watch the game closely, but it looked like Nurkic was not playing well, and even lacked effort. That's one of my bigger concerns about this season. It seems like Covington, Jones, Trent jr etc are all the sort that will figure it out and do their part. But if Nurkic regresses this team is in trouble. Especially with Collins out.

Has anyone watched Nurkic closely enough to see if he's had good games or stretches? Maybe he just needs to get in shape to be consistent. I think I remember him being decent in the houston game and parts of the lakers game. And I think he historically has been bad against Golden State so maybe it's not something to read into much.
