I kind of agree in general with most of what's been said. It's really too bad there wasnt a training camp. 3 days is hardly enough time to introduce new players and a new defensive system. Add to that Nurkic missed most of it. Nurk clearly did not come prepared for the season. He'll get there, but it will take time. Lillard is not playing all that well either. Hood is not around. Collins is not around and apparently will not be around this season. Trent Jr and Simon's seem to be splitting minutes.
DJJ cant hit a short or even a free throw to save his life, but he's a monster around the basket. There is so much that needs to go right, but hasn't really had an opportunity. The schedule is goofy. Most of the back-to-back games are split, even if an inferior team is playing. It's just a goofy year. No fans so the only real homecourt advantage is that the players get to sleep in their own bed. Like TSE said, it's just an odd season.
