From here on out, the Milwaukee games and Washington games take on a different significance. Until healthy/healthier, winning against contenders is unlikely; Stotts should be thinking about "load management" for Lillard when those games are getting away.

Against non-playoff teams, there is no excuse for making it close. No excuse for losses. Washington is MUST win.
For fans who enjoy watching the youth develop BUT hoping for a tank-job, I get it. This is one of those games.

This pace the wizards play is just ridiculous. I don’t know if it’s always like this but there is no defense being played on their end. Portland has actually played decent defense tonight imo, Washington missed some good looks but Portland’s effort has been much better than last night

Yeah, very impressive game by Covington and was very impressive to see this Blazer team buckle down once the Wizards close the game to 4 points and just completely take over the last few minutes. The Blazers had a 122 to 118 lead with 3 minutes and 35 seconds to go and from that point on they score 10 points to close the game and Washington scores 3.

Also nice to see other players stepping up their game when Dame was really struggling in the first half, the Blazers had a very solid lead in a game without CJ+Nurkic when Dame is having trouble converting.

Damian is so good even when he struggles he often stills score 30+, crazy he has more 30+ point games this season than anyone else in the league.

Sounds like Lillard was not at full strength
