I hope Lillard doesn't come back too soon. It will be worse if it lingers and reoccurs. It's a long season and the playoffs are grueling. It's more important to end the season healthy and fresh for the playoffs.

Our defense is abysmal. Its worse than last season somehow despite adding Covington and Jr. IDK what needs to be done, but its beyond a joke at this point.

Four missed shots. Can't win if you can't make a shot.

People are going to get on Melo's case for only scoring 2 points instead of appreciating that he only took 8 shots.

Didn't see the game but it looks like Hood, DJJ, and Carmelo might have been the biggest issues? Also the team shot 50% from FT... sounds like they weren't very focused? Too bad they lost against a below .500 team.

I mean this is a pretty disappointing end to this trip but despite major injuries this team was 3-3 on a 6 game EC road trip. 4-2 would have been very nice, but all things considered 3-3 is a decent showing.

What was up with the free throw line? Missed some pretty wide open 3 point shots, as well.

Melo was awful. His lack of focus and energy seems contagious at times

I was most disappointed in DJJ though. Figured he would play with more energy after being out a few games

I don't know what people are watching. Melo's focus, energy, and defense was amazing. His great offense is a bonus. Anyone that says Melo's defense is bad, doesn't know what they are talking about. He's not RoCo. He doesn't have DJJ's athleticism. But, compared to the other 11 players on the team, Melo's defense stacks up just fine. He is far from the worst defender on our team. If you want evidence of that, name me one game since he got here when an opponent identified his defense as a scoring opportunity and setup a play to exploit the weakness. It hasn't happened once. Even in situational mismatches after a bad switch, Melo always does a solid defensive job.

I really hope this is a joke. “His great offense is a bonus”, it hasn’t been even avg let alone great. He’s been god awful offensively for the majority of the season. Yet somehow they still allow him his post touches and isolations, or as I call them wasted possessions.

Quickley got intentional switches on melo back to back trips down the floor, melo sagged off him so much there wasn’t even a contest and got 2 3s that swung this game. “Hasn’t happened once” lol

I mean, beating the 76ers without Dame, CJ, and Nurkić only to lose to the Knicks the next game because Dame didn't go for 50 is pretty on brand.

Consistently Inconsistent. Which Blazer team/performance will we get next game?

I mean really where Portland has struggled the most this year is at home, this team is 5-5 at home and 7-5 on the road. I can't even recall the last time Portland had a winning record on the road but were .500 or worse at home.

If we were say 7-3 at home this team would be entrenched in the 4th spot right now.
