Unreal finish by Dame there.

Schroeder helps the Lakers a lot. Both teams will be desperate to break their losing streaks.

Schroeder is a Blazer killer. We can't defend that guy.

A hobbled Dame is going to make it hard for Portland to win.

Well, that 6-game winning streak was a nice memory. Hopefully Portland can pick up a couple wins before the All-Star break.

Blazers miss CJ. We miss Nurk too, even with Kanter's superb play. It was nice when GTJ was our dagger as a 3-4 option. Everyone gets better shots when we have Lillard and CJ carving up the defense.

Looking ahead, I want Blazers to be 4, 5, or 8 seed. 8 seed is great if Jazz are 1 seed. Anything that avoids Lakers and Clippers in 1st round. The 4-5 seed winner could have the winner of Jazz vs 8 seed in 2nd round. That would be beautiful.

I mean looking at how many of those wins were Dame willing the team to victory and winning a close game, this streak was kind of bound to happen.

The Blazers weren't easily handling most teams during that 6 game winning streak.

Dame dominates the game like B Roy used to do. That isn't a compliment. Head-down, dribble drives into a crowd of defenders, get hammered, turn ball over, cry about not getting a call. Rinse, repeat, and make sure you get your 30+ points so you can be in that MVP discussion.

This teams going nowhere until one of Stotts, Dame or Olshey are sent packing. All optimism of a chip for the Blazers is gone for me. Unfortunately, Dame isn't going anywhere until he eventually demands it. He makes this franchise a ton of money, which is sorely needed during this Covid-era of not having butts in seats, generating the usual revenue from tickets, beer and dogs.

I would hope the brass would realize we aren't competing for a championship until there's a major shift, and I don't think trading CJ is the cure. Dame, Stotts or Olshey need to go. I would fire Stotts yesterday, and would consider trading Dame in the right package. That is, if winning a championship is the goal, but Is it, or are the Vulcans just as happy collecting golden eggs from Dame, til he stops laying them.

Of the three mentioned by Gee, its likely the consensus pick will be NO.

I'm of the opinion that trading CJ while not the game changer will allow the team to manage their cap
which is what they have to do when they gave Dame his max extension. What is needed is a GM who
will make the necessary moves for by 22/23, Dame/CJ will be making $80 million between them for
a team which is not a playoff contender.

I'm kind of tired of Covington. The Blazers got rid of Aminu and Harkless because they couldn't score. Fast forward two years and we have the same problem. Now I'm wondering what Covington, Hood, Collins, and Simon's can return.

Simon's single-handedly gave up the Blazers lead in the second quarter. I was glad to see him not come back in the game, but it was at Lillard's expense.

I think we are doing good. You would think with 3 starters injured, we would be focused on getting experience for our depth. We are doing that and winning too.
