It's a big night for our GLB. I believe Eva is up for the task.

What a gutsy win! Melo was huge off the bench and the defense tightening up was great to see. This win felt somewhat important, not only for clinching the season series, but for re-establishing momentum before the All-Star break. Hopefully Portland can beat Sacramento tomorrow --- a 21-14 record despite all the injuries would be a pretty good spot to be in.

Happy for the win, but the Blazers have got to start shooting better; particularly Lillard.

Am I seeing things, or did that ridiculous Curry shot in the 3rd quarter that hit the top of the back board then went in counted?

If so that was the biggest gift of a bucket I have ever seen.

He has this team at 20-14 with all the injuries . I realize there is a long list of possible coaches who would be 34-0 with this line up..

You just knew that shot was dropping from dame, I was celebrating as soon as I saw them not send a 2nd guy. It won’t get talked about cuz Steph had that huge first quarter but dame took the challenge and really played fantastic defense on Steph. I just thought in the 1st half he didn’t stay attached and the awareness of the help defenders was pretty lousy. Melo was great.. again. I’ve never been more happy to be wrong and he’s only getting in better shape. Unsung heroes tonight were Gary trent, who seemed to find a bucket whenever the lead was approaching double digits to keep us around, and also Covington. He’s such a game changer for this team if only we could get this play from him on a more consistent basis. Let’s hope after the all star break we see a lot more of tonight from him.

I believe it’s allowed to touch the top of the backboard. It just can’t touch anything beyond that (such as the shot clock). Lamar Hurd was discussing during the broadcast that by the rule it was ruled a good made shot correctly.

That seems weird to me because, I always thought anything beyond the back of the backboard was out of bounds. Though I guess the basket is completely in bounds so I guess you can touch the top of the backboard. You rarely see a ball hit the top of the backboard then go in though, I think this is the first time I have ever seen it.

It was a crazy shot that happened to go in. You could see that shot 100 times and it probably only goes in a time or two.
