This defense is straight up pathetic. It's almost impossibly bad.

Blazers got hosed. How did they call that foul on Covington, then overturn it and say no foul. Then Covington is the one who gets fouled? That was just plain stupid.

Man, the Bench was so awful tonight. Not a single bench player with a positive on the +/- I have no clue what happened to the bench that was firing on all cylinders a week or two ago.

I also was pissed at that **** challenged call, Blazers have a fast break opportunity on the steal but since they called a flop by Harden a foul they can't take it, they overturn the call but Nets get to set their defense. On top of that it's a jump ball situation so Blazers have to win the jump ball just to get possession. James Harden is easily one of the most annoying players to ever play in the NBA, dude falls down at the drop of a hat and gets rewarded for it 9 times out of 10.

This is the type of bull you see from James "****" Harden. Blatant ref bait plays like this **** **** should be given out a ten game ban for this at minimum, James Harden is making a fool out of the "anti-flop rules" they have in place.

I don't think I've seen that before. What a ridiculous call!!! Sadly, it's not surprising.

pretty common trait of the Olshey/Stotts Blazers over the last 6 seasons: fatten the record against the bad teams and lay eggs against the good ones. The playoffs don't have bad teams which is why Portland playoff record over the last 7 years posts a .357 winning percentage

the Blazers, over the first 40 games, had an incredible record in winning close games, mainly because of Dame (I think they were something like 6-1 in games decidied by 3 or less and 9-4 in games decided by 5 or less). But those are usually about 50-50 coin flips, even for the great teams. Last night was karma asserting itself and starting to even out that clutch record

Some questionable play at the end, likely in part due to the starters running out of gas. But no made shots and only 1 made free throw in the last 2:30 isn't going to win any close games. Sucks because that was a winnable game, and we wasted a rare "Good Melo" game - at least on offense.

Too many 3 point shots, particularly down the stretch.

Wiz - when is Karma going to catch up to Harden???
