Any word on Lillard? I actually hope they sit him for a week. He needs to get right again and if that means sitting him for a week or two, then do it.

Well this is straight up embarrassing.

176 points. After the 1st, the Blazers were on pace for giving up 176 points. You hate to see it but it's oddly more fun in a comical way to watch than if they just give up 120.

Big RHJ fan, but the fact he is currently our fourth leading scorer despite him being a defensive specialist that only got a roster spot because we were forced to sign a 14th player and he agreed to a prorated minimum is somewhat concerning.

3 for 20 from 3 by the three back court sharp shooters. Maybe topped by Covington getting/taking one shot.

Prior to this game, I could name just one player on the Hornets roster - Rozier. I didnt realize he was Curry-esq. What a ridiculous showing. it's games like this that make me want to trade every friggin player on this roster.

Need to trade CJ. Him and Norm are a duplication. Wish we didn't trade Gary.

Probably the easier route is just letting norm go in the off season or a s&t. I’d rather have norm between the two but cj is locked up

The problem with trading CJ and retaining Norm is that would still put Portland well into the luxury tax. They'd have to find a team that wants CJ, has cap space, and is willing to trade someone on a cheaper contract that is good enough that Portland would justify trading CJ for. Possible, but unlikely.

The ideal solution for Portland in trading CJ would be if the Knicks once again strike out in free agency
and decide another year of mediocrity is unacceptable.
