Unimportant question of the night. Why does Jordan Kent say the "Jr." attached to some players' names every single time? For that matter, why do players have "Jr." on their jerseys? The last name is the family name. "Jr." is a suffix appended to the entire name, typically following a comma, which curiously does not appear on the jersey.

He was a stupid hire. Never made to be a lead play by play but what do I know, sometimes national media eats some pretty mediocre broadcasters up.

Now begins the dreaded Q3

Nice to see Portland play well in the first half. Could almost predict that they'd come out bad in the 3rd, but hopefully they get it together quickly.

What about people that go by Junior and drop all their remaining name? I know 2 people, 50+ year old men that go by Junior.

It appears The Blazers got tired of losing games by 1-2 points so they decided to just destroy their opponents. We have seen this before though, Lillard goes into destroy mode 9 times out of 10 in the last 10-15% of the season.

What would happen if he didn't say Jr.? Is he allowed to, on his own, to leave out a part of a Jr's declared identity? If I were paid his salary, I would be safe and just read. As long as a player has the extra J on his moniker, I'd say it just like it reads.

I'm a Junior My father took off when I was a teenager and he's been dead for decades and I don't use it anymore but I used it pretty regularly when I was in my twenties. Junior Samples, Junior Gilliam, works OK for me.

RHJ brings just about everything DJJ does but at like 5% the cost.

And he might have to. Blazers have the 5th hardest schedule remaining and are only 2.5 games ahead of the 9th seed Spurs.
