This would be better than winning a title. Stotts is such a soft filler type coach. Just there to say the pretty things and never hold accountability when it counts. Actually makes you miss a stubborn a** McMillan.

I'm not on twitter. Who is Dane and why does this person's opinions matter? He/she/bot doesn't seem to understand the different roles and responsibilities on a basketball team.

If you look at his twitter he states who he is...
Dane
@danegado
I used to be a guy on the TV at
@nbcsports
@sportingnews
@sbnation
now I'm just a guy.
Not that this gives him some major credit or something, but he used to work in the sports media world.

You are right, it doesn't give him any credibility. If anything, it lowers his credibility. His tweet speaks for itself. Stotts coaches the Blazers. He is not in charge of building the roster. Anyone dumb enough to believe there is something wrong with Blazers roster, other than it isn't the NBA's best roster, hopefully is outranked by sensible people and Stotts' job is safe.
Nobody is responsible for injuries, they happen. They can happen to a building team, like the Blazers, or a championship team, like the Warriors.

Did something happen to Jones/Little/Giles/RHJ?? The 4 best intangibles guys on the team nowhere in sight

Blazers could force feed Nurk and Enes every game and be a contender but instead just live and die by the jumpshot night after night after night. Please nobody seriously try to say the issue isn’t coaching, that is directly a coaching issue.

Great to see Dame and Nurk come alive!

If they could straighten Powell's legs, he'd be 3 inches taller.

This game has some garbage level reffing, felt like the refs were being paid $5000 to ref this game by the Nets.
Good to see the boys putting it together, but they're Re: Game 63: Portland vs Brooklyn 5:00pm SNW/NBATV

Good to see the boys putting it together, but they're gonna have to do it a whole lot more to make up for the 5 game losing streak. Let's go now!

Well pretty impressive to win the last 3 by a combined 61 points when most of our losses lately have come in very close games. This team is showing a lot more gumption and really also avoiding getting into tighter situations at the end, where one bucket missed or a FT missed could be the difference.
I also will point out we are only 1 game behind the Lakers at the 5th spot so this will really come down to which team looks the best over their last 9 or so games. That 5 game losing streak sucked ass in this playoff run, but at least Dallas and LA did not fully take advantage and buffer their record.

Former regional sports reporter/sbnation contributor that still tweets a lot of Blazers stuff. He was clearly implying that Stotts is going to get fired because of Olshey's GM moves.

Stotts seems to be trying to get the Dame/CJ/Norm/Roco/Nurk lineup to gel.
Big minutes for Melo, Kanter, and Simons seems to suggest that's going to be the 8 man playoff rotation.
Jones has been on Olshey's ish list for a while now, as proven by TJ Leaf getting more minutes.
Little got some garbage minutes. Giles got a few less. No idea why RHJ didn't play the last 3 with him.

Not complaining! A win is a win, but other than further proving "Dame > Kyrie", I wouldn't read too much into beating the Nets without Harden and Durant.
