I've seen some very ugly games from Portland in Utah over the past 40 years. Going to be a very
hard game to win unless the Jazz decide to start resting their players since Mitchell and Conley
are already out.

No Mitchell or Conley makes this a far easier game to take from the Jazz. Conley is a big loss especially, the dude always blows up against us and scores like 25 points on ridiculous efficiency.

He would be a top 15 player if he played the Blazers every game.

Hopefully the Blazers still take this team seriously though and really go all out trying to win.

What a gift this is... I really don't like Utah's players (except Conley) or fans, so I really want to see us beat them down early, like they owe us something. Take care of business, with no heavy minutes for the starters.

Our fortunes, with other teams resting their stars is becoming strange to me. Is Utah gifting us this game, knowing it keeps the Lakers in the bubble? Might PHX and/or DEN follow suit? It would make some sense IMO, as it would definitely give them the chance to screw the Lakers, while having the bonus of resting their stars.

Not sure how it will unravel as far as teams positioning, but nobody wants the Clippers 1st round. Wondering if there is a scenario where our final game of the season with DEN, allows DEN to decide who we face... them or the Clips. Could both teams end up trying to lose the final game? That would be awesome!!!

I mean basically any team in the top 4 is a pretty rough matchup if fully healthy. I think I would prefer a Clippers matchup than going up against a Denver team hell bent on revenge for 2 years ago and was coming off a WCF appearance.

Mitchell and Conely have both been out for a while now. Utah was missing both players when they beat Denver the other night as well. Bojan Bogdanovich had 48 against the nuggets and Jordan Clarkson had 41 the other night in a 3 point loss to the Warriors. If Utah's 3's are falling, they are still a good team even without Mitchell and Conley.

Did anyone else see the surprise Oshey and the team put together for Melo, with the nerf hoop trophy they made him, along with the "ME10" shirts... Really cool move, and so thoughtful. You could see Melo getting emotional over it, but he held it together, barely.

He should be a go for tonight. I expect him to be money and put on a real show.

Yeah, Utah is not resting players technically they are without those two guys both due to injury.

Extremely jealous of the Denver and Utah GM's. Managed to build extremely deep teams around their super stars with vets and great picks. I'm praying for olshey to get canned. I get triggered every time I see his face.

Is the board dead because everyone knows we're going out in the first round and the team is going nowhere with our current front office? That's why I haven't been posting the last few years at least. I had some hope this off season, but failing to move cj and using cap space on hood and DJJ crushed that.

Good win. Dallas and LA won as well, so still a similar race for the standings.

Friggin Rockets. Pissed away another opportunity for the Lakers to lose.
