I really wish we could start Melo against Gordon's punk-***. Slide Roco to the 3, and try Powell as 6 man, with CJ as first man out. Oh that's right... doing so might effect Powell's numbers.

2 GUARDS, 2 FORWARDS & CENTER !!!

Powell is a guard. Rotate him in with the guards. Play the guards that are the hottest, the most amount of minutes for the 96 minutes available at the guard positions. Play hard and play smart. Rotate often to keep legs fresh.

Roco, Melo, Jones Jr. and Little are your forwards. Same formula as with the guards.

Nurkic, Kanter and Giles are your C's. Nurkic 28-35 mpg, Kanter gets the rest, unless he is just OK out there like he's been games 1 & 2. Giles should stay ready, in case Kanter starts to stink.

How do we STILL have a rotation that brings in Melo and Enes together... 2 awful defenders who are effective as iso players on the block.

They need to never see the floor together. Space them out Stotts for **** sake.

Nurk is playing his ass off.

Powell's strength is amazing. Millsap was trying too back him down and Powell held his position.

I'm concerned about this series because Kanter has not seemed good enough. It seems like the biggest problem for Portland.

I actually like Carmelo's aggressiveness, he seems to be competing and being aggressive on defense. I like Powell's aggressiveness in this game too. Nurkic has been huge.

Nuggets are on fire but are only up by 5

Have Melo be the small ball center. His deficits against the slower Jokic are less bad. Can’t be worse and with Melo you get better O and making Jokic move. Kanter is overmatched by Jokic in every way.

Powell is a keeper.

Stotts’ seat warming up. Hope not, but losing to the depleted Nuggets would be unacceptable.

3rd quarter GLB pic

I really over-estimated this team. I thought they'd beat the Nuggets without Murray, but Denver is clearly the better team. Much better coached. The Blazers defense continues to suck even though they acquired all these highly rated defenders, and now they are just forcing shots. They are lucky to not be down 25 right now.

Stotts needs to leave Nurkic in when Jokic is in. Kanter can't do squat. Denver went on that run when Nurkic came out in the first quarter.

Joker is scoring too easy. We should bring help against Joker when he dribbles.
