As I watch the playoffs, more and more I wish I could hear the sounds in the arena without hearing the drivel from commentators. Their endlessly repeated talking points produced from little to no homework on the teams playing, basketball analytics, and modern basketball praxiology reduces and not enhances enjoyment of the game. Yet muting my tv set denies the pleasure of hearing the arena and court sounds.
Does anyone know of a method or device to remove the sound of the mind numbing chatterers, while keeping the arena and court sounds? I assume that voice comes from a separate speaker channel, but am much too untech savvy to divine needed actions or attachments. Help!

I don't know of any way to do this but I would pay extra for this feature for many sports. Let us know if you find anything!

Some illegal streams you can, or at least you used to be able to get the jumbotron feed and I always enjoyed those. It would be a cool option for the league to offer that wouldn't take much effort on their part since they already have it but I could see them charging way more since they don't get that big commercial money.
I was somewhat excited for the bubble that without fans you could maybe hear much more of the coaches and players speaking on the court - we got a little bit of that (they ended up cutting sound every time Melo rebounded, not sure if anyone else noticed that lol) but it didn't really work out like I had hoped. That is really what I want though, I want to hear our players calling out switches, our coach calling our plays and even the players trash talking each other.
Mic up the court and give me that experience and I would definitely pay more for that. Announcers really don't add anything for me either (best I hope for is they don't distract or detract from the experience). Although I will say for a more casual watcher (like my wife for example) they would appreciate announcers helping them understand the game more than the avid fans we have here.
