Man, that early stretch had me worried of a redux of the earlier Clipper game. Good to see the energy pick up since then.

Sloppy Slop, refs not calling anything under the sun... reminds me of some 90's ball a little bit

Lillard once again showing off his abilities at the end of this game, nearly went into can't miss mode from 3.

Good to exorcise the memory of that blowout loss to the Clippers with a solid win here. Also good to see Dame’s shot bounce back.

It’s so hard to get a read on this season, not just for Portland, but for other teams. So far, a 3-2 record and big positive point differential is good to see. Hopefully that translates to a good team.

I think a 3-2 record is very nice especially when we have been winning most games by at least 10 points, and over the first 5 games have played quality teams mostly. Both The Suns and The Clippers have gotten off to a slow start but this is a long season and they have plenty of time to correct that.

This is even more true when we are implementing a new coach, and this usually means growing pains yet the Blazers seem to be adapting to this new system quickly.

I read some fans(on another forum) believe this could be a title team now. I won't go there, but Nas/Ant breaking out the rest of the way, Dame returning to nuclear + defense and cutters could make this one heck of a ride.

Who knows where this team goes. There’s some good signs yes but we also have gotten curb stomped in our 2 losses so while 3-2 looks good on paper we have some things to clean up.

Was losing to the Kings by 3 a curb stomping? Especially in a game where the Blazers looked very bad the first half or so of the game.

The only loss I would say is a curb stomping was against the Clippers at home.
