Seeing Melo in a lakers jersey is gonna hurt. I have a feeling he’s gonna go off on us for not even getting a call from Neil “custodians of Melo’s legacy” Olshey.

Great start but it is still early. They need to keep up the pressure and build on the lead.

Portland has needed a game like this! Of course, it helps that the Lakers are down their 2 best players, but psychologically, it’s got to feel good to get a blowout win after recent struggles and even their record at 5-5.

Hope Dame felt a bit of relief after this one.

I almost felt bad for the Lakers having Westbrook on the court for them. He was turrrrrrible. Then Davis going off sick was just so Anthony Davis like.

Blazers look far better at home than on the road, outside of the home loss to the Kings they have taken care of business at home big time.

Always nice to beat the Lakers though, the bench had a really bad 4th quarter though and made this game look a lot closer than it was.

Horrible effort from the Lakers for both WB and Rondo couldn't hit the broad side of a barn but there
was some ugly BB from both teams in the second quarter. Portland looked like the team playing their
fifth game in seven nights.

Interesting to view these games with Covid still a factor. Still lots of Laker fans in the crowd but even
with the Lakers in town, still plenty of empty seats. I sit in section 319 (half season tickets) any my
entire section was closed off due to a sprinkler problem before the game on open night. Team had
no problem relocating everyone in 319 in mostly better seats on the 200 level which suggests actual
attendance, even for the Lakers is well down. Odd experience watching a game in a mask with even
the rally girls wearing masks None of the usual stuff like giving out T-shirts on opening night is
happening (so far) in the 2021-2 season. It just seems like everything is off for the players have been
griping about the change in basketballs since the start of the season and guys like Dame are not getting
to the line anywhere near as much as they did last season.

Saturday was a great day sports wise. Blazers beat the Lakers. Ducks hucked the Fuskies. Olshey story broke. Nevada beat SJSU. Lil Bro losing to Colorado was really the only down moment.
