I think it partially reflects the status of the team. Just idling in a treadmill state thanks to Olshey.

Once we diverge into either a full rebuild or trade for another star play, I'm assuming it'll get more active again.

Currently I'm wanting us to lose close matches (with our key players playing well, but we can still nudge up our position on the Draft ladder).

Man, after starting the season 2-14 on the road the Blazers have now won 3 of their last 4 on the road, pretty impressive turnaround.

Edit:

Just got a chance to watch the game amazing that in the final quarter with 7:20 to go or so Boston has an 11 point lead in the final 7ish minutes Boston scores a total of 5 points and Portland scores 20.

We are clearly seeing prime Nurk here he has looked incredible in the past 10 games or so for the most part.

Seems like Nurk is also playing more minutes than he has at any other point. Injuries probably have something to do with it but it’s a positive that with his conditioning he is able to play 35 minutes and still be effective.

Amazing to see the Celtics board go into a meltdown...

I really think Boston/Portland should do a trade together for half their board wants Jaylen Brown shipped
out of town. A player like CJ might really help Boston while they have lots of front court depth.

Boston is kinda in the same position the Blazers have been in with having their best two players being fairly similar players. They play well together, but that doesn’t mean they’re the best pairing ever. They need to break up the Tatum and Brown just like the Blazers have needed to break up Dame and CJ.

Boston is a solid defensive team they just don't have a goto scorer. We have too many goto scorers and for us defense is a key issue.

Tatum is a good player, I just don't see him as the bucket getter in a close game and their abysmal record in clutch games proves this.

A nationally televised game! Finally an opportunity to watch Portland. Nurkić going beast mode. Loved the run at the end, but it makes you wonder if the Blazers are really gelling or if Boston is just bad. Bill Simmons eerily quiet.

Winning 5 of the last 7 hurts Portland's chances at tanking. Blazers are 10th which means they'd qualify for the play-in. And in Blazers fashion, Dame will come back and carry us to the first round, where we'll probably get swept by the Warriors. Again.
